The hubs, oldest son and I took the grandson (6 years old) apple picking this past Saturday.  It was a gorgeous but fairly hot fall day.  I think we’ll make it a yearly event as fun was had by all.  We walked up the hill to the orchard as there was a long line for the hay ride up there.  We did take the hay ride back down after picking a 1/2 bushel of apples as no one wanted to carry it back down the hill!
